Steri-Strip™ are made of artificial silk fleece with reinforced rayon fibres and are especially suitable for atraumatic wound closure. The special material processing ensures high tensile strength and even tension distribution. The strips are porous and breathable, so the exudate can drain off, but the hypoallergenic adhesive and its adhesive strength are not affected. The precise wound edge adaptation prevents tissue trauma and also avoids the risk of infection that occurs with conventional suture material due to the stitch channels. The sterile Steri-Strip™ also has a particularly skin-friendly adhesive, which convinces with a consistent adhesive strength. Steri-Strip™ provide good blood circulation and allow for an excellent scar result when healing. Steri-Strip™ can be used in all medical settings.
