The WESTMED® rescue blanket in the silver-gold version (210 x 160 cm) is a high-vacuum aluminium-coated film that is a versatile rescue tool. Thanks to its reflective properties, it can reflect up to 85 % of body heat, minimising radiation losses and preventing hypothermia. At the same time, it is also suitable as heat protection to prevent overheating. This rescue blanket complies with the regulations for industrial first aid kits in accordance with DIN 13157 and DIN 13169 as well as vehicle first aid kits in accordance with DIN 13164. Its use is highly recommended not only in these contexts, but also in any other first aid kit. The dimensions of 210 x 160 cm ensure generous coverage, while the silver-gold colour combination is not only eye-catching, but also allows efficient reflection of heat. The rescue blanket is packed in a space-saving PE bag, ready to fulfil life-saving functions in various emergency situations.
