Distillation apparatuses now available in the Fleischhacker shop

Steam distillation is an essential method for separating organic compounds which have higher vapour pressures than water. As such, we offer several different types of distillation apparatuses, some with the automatic addition of NaOH & H2O. 

As an added benefit, we also sell the accompanying Behrotest maintenance set for steam distillers, to make maintenance of your laboratory equipment that much easier.

If your experiment requires lower quantities of material to be tested, we have available short-distilling apparatuses for micro quantities, with a borosilicate glass distilling link. 

For the experiment that requires the distillation of liquids such as water, vinegar, alcoholic mixtures and organic solvents, we have available the multi-purpose distillation apparatus. This apparatus is designed for the easy and trouble-free distillation of liquids with a boiling temperature of up to 150°C. 

We provide a number of distillation accessories for your laboratory instruments:

• The Tripod set, Stand set and Magnetic stirrer with heater which are customisable to your experiment.
• Retaining devices which can be used for securing items during distillation. These are available in different colours and sizes for easier organisation of materials.
• HWS-04 control unit for column distillation has 4-control keys and 4-line display. The menu navigation developed with the help of users makes the operating instructions practically superfluous.
