The Ambu® AuraGain™ disposable laryngeal mask, the latest generation of Ambu's laryngeal masks, ensures fast and safe airway protection. With its anatomically adapted shape, it enables rapid placement and long-term functionality. The thin and soft cuff ensures high sealing pressures, while the integrated gastric access allows for a feeding tube to actively and passively control gastric contents and prevent distention. The AuraGain also offers an intubation option, making it a safe choice for unexpected difficult airways. If required, it can be used with a flexible endoscope such as the Ambu® aScope™ 3 as an insertion aid. The latest update increases the printed recommendation for maximum feeding tube size from 14 Fr (CH) to 16 Fr (CH), allowing the use of feeding tubes up to 16 Fr (CH). Both product variants can be maintained during the changeover phase.
