The Magill endotracheal tube with cuff and guide rod is a high-quality medical device that has been specially developed for the oral or nasal intubation of patients. It is used in various clinical situations—such as during anesthesia, resuscitation, or mechanical ventilation in intensive care—and serves to reliably secure and keep the airways open.

The integrated low-pressure cuff ensures effective sealing of the trachea, preventing both unwanted aspiration of secretions and loss of ventilation pressure. At the same time, the soft, atraumatic material design protects the sensitive mucous membranes and allows for comfortable placement. The moldable guide rod supplied allows the tube to be inserted in a targeted and controlled manner, even under difficult conditions. Once intubation has been successfully completed, the stylet can be removed without any problems.

Made from latex-free, medically tested PVC and equipped with a standard 15 mm connection, the endotracheal tube is compatible with all common ventilators. X-ray contrast strips along the length of the tube also enable quick and reliable position control on the X-ray image. Depth markings on the outside of the tube facilitate precise positioning.

The tube is designed as a sterile disposable product and is available in standard sizes from 6.0 to 9.0 mm (inner diameter), allowing it to be individually adapted to each patient.
