Leukosan® Strip from BSN medical GmbH, emphasis was placed on particularly high-quality materials. The strips offer a durable and at the same time flexible wound edge adaptation, the special material additionally reduces the risk of skin maceration and allows moisture to pass through. Leukosan® Strip offers special elasticity due to the woven polyamide threads, which adapt optimally to the healing process of the wound. Leukosan® Strip has a very strong and skin-friendly adhesive which quickly and securely adapts to the wound edges. The rounded corners prevent the material from rolling up and give the strips a long durability on the skin. The strips can also be useful after skin suturing or stapling to improve the cosmetic scar result. Leukosan® Strips are available in white or skin coloured microporous polyamide fabric coated with an acrylic polymer adhesive. Leukosan® Strip are ideal for atraumatic skin closure of small wounds and incisions or for thin, sensitive skin.
