The Medibox® is the ideal waste container for the safe disposal of sharp and pointed objects in the medical environment. This high-quality box meets the strict requirements of DIN EN ISO 23907 and is break-resistant, penetration-resistant and extremely stable when used as intended. The Medibox® was specially developed to safely dispose of cannulas with Luer or Luer-Lock attachments as well as pen cannulas. The box has a generous opening that makes the disposal of various sharp and pointed medical instruments easy and safe. An outstanding feature of the Medibox® is the free-standing lid that easily snaps into the open position, allowing temporary sealing with just one hand. For a permanent seal, simply press on the marked pressure points on the lid of the box. The end closure can be heard and felt to ensure that the box is properly closed. The Medibox® is also conveniently marked as the maximum fill level is indicated on the lid or directly on the box. This facilitates monitoring and timely replacement of the box. In addition, the Medibox® is autoclavable at 134°C for up to 18 minutes, which enables safe sterilisation. It is certified according to ISO 23907, ADR and 2008/68/EC and thus meets the strict requirements for waste containers according to TRBA 250.
