WESTMED ® ECG disposable adhesive electrodes, foam layer

The WESTMED® disposable ECG electrodes with foam carrier and 4 mm banana plug connection have been specially developed for short-term monitoring in ECG diagnostics. With a size of 36 x 51 mm, they are ideal for applications such as resting ECG, echo, exercise ECG (Ergo) and for use in emergency and intensive care medicine.

The non-breathable foam carrier offers stable adhesion, but is not suitable for sensitive skin. Liquid gel embedded in a sponge is used as the contact medium. This gel adapts optimally to uneven skin and ensures immediate, stable signal transmission thanks to excellent moisturization of the skin surface.

The electrodes offer reliable performance with a short wearing time, but the liquid gel can be squeezed out under strong pressure, which can lead to slight residues on the skin and possible smearing. Supplied in a pack of 30 electrodes.
