WESTMED® ECG disposable adhesive electrodes, foam layer

The WESTMED® ECG disposable electrodes with the dimensions 36 x 51 mm and push-button connection are ideal for short-term monitoring in areas such as resting ECG, echo, exercise ECG (Ergo) as well as in emergency and intensive care medicine. They consist of a non-breathable foam backing which ensures a stable fixation, but is not recommended for sensitive skin.

Equipped with an Ag/AgCl sensor, the electrodes ensure reliable signal quality. Solid gel is used as the contact medium - a chemically fixed gel that does not leak, always retains its shape and leaves no residue on the skin when removed. The gel adheres independently to the electrode and the skin and is therefore particularly user-friendly.

A possible disadvantage of the Solid Gel is that it is less moisturizing to the skin, which may require more intensive skin preparation (e.g. cleaning or light roughening) to achieve optimum conductivity. The WESTMED® ECG disposable electrodes are supplied in practical bags of 30.
