CARDIAC T

CARDIAC T is the only test that has an extended measuring range with a cut-off of 40 ng/l. Specially developed for the cobas® h 232 POC analysis system as of 07/2016, it is used for the quantitative determination of troponin T in blood. Due to its high sensitivity and specificity, cardiac troponin T is recognized as the gold standard in the diagnosis of myocardial infarction and is recommended according to the current guidelines of internal medicine. The increased sensitivity of the CARDIAC T test enables precise risk assessment and the initiation of appropriate treatment. This test offers an important decision-making aid for patient referral and enables a progression assessment by comparison with later measurements. This allows the progression of the disease to be closely monitored.
