The WESTMED® disposable ECG electrodes with breathable fleece backing and push-button connection are specially designed for long-term monitoring and for use on sensitive skin. With a diameter of 55 mm, they offer comfortable, secure adhesion and are ideal for areas such as diagnostics, the sleep laboratory or long-term ECG monitoring.

The liquid gel used is embedded in a sponge and ensures excellent moisturization of the uppermost skin layer, which guarantees immediate signal stability. It adapts optimally to skin irregularities and thus ensures uniform conductivity over the entire monitoring period. Thanks to their flat profile and the soft, breathable textured fleece, the electrodes are particularly skin-friendly and therefore also ideal for patients with sensitive skin.

One possible disadvantage of the liquid gel is that it can be squeezed out when pressure is applied, which can lead to residue on the skin or smearing. Nevertheless, this electrode impresses with its reliable performance, especially for sensitive or long-term applications.
