Foam ECG electrode, Ø 30 mm

The WESTMED® ECG foam electrode with a diameter of 30 mm was developed for reliable results in diagnostic and long-term ECG applications. Its skin-friendly foam backing ensures good adhesion and a comfortable fit, but is not breathable and is therefore more suitable for short-term use - especially for resting ECGs, echo, Ergo or in emergency and intensive care medicine. It is only suitable to a limited extent for sensitive skin.

The solid gel used adheres independently to the skin and electrode, retains its shape and does not leak. This makes the application particularly clean and leaves no residue on the skin. In combination with the Ag/AgCl sensor, the gel ensures precise and stable signal transmission - ideal for clear ECG recordings.

A possible disadvantage of the Solid Gel is the reduced skin hydration, which may require more thorough skin preparation to ensure optimal signal quality. Supplied in packs of 30 - ideal for professional use in clinics, surgeries or emergency services.
