The WESTMED® disposable ECG electrodes with a diameter of 50 mm offer outstanding comfort and reliable performance for ECG diagnostics and long-term monitoring. The electrodes are made of a breathable fabric backing that is particularly skin-friendly and allows good air circulation, making them ideal for prolonged wear. They are equipped with a push-button connection, which guarantees a quick and easy connection to the ECG devices.

The Solid Gel, a liquid gel that is chemically fixed, serves as a contact gel and ensures excellent moisturization of the upper skin layer. It prevents the gel from being squeezed out of the sponge and thus ensures constant conductivity during use. The gel also “forgives” small irregularities in skin preparation and offers reliable results, even if the skin is not perfectly prepared.

One advantage of the Solid Wet Gel is that it leaves less gel residue on the skin and the electrodes can be removed relatively cleanly after use. However, these electrodes are slightly larger in size than solid electrodes and cannot be reduced as much. These properties make the electrodes particularly practical in medical practice, as they are easy to use and still offer very reliable results.
