Sonogel ultrasound gel is a high-quality, clinically tested contact gel that has been specially developed for ultrasound diagnostics. It is characterized by its skin-friendliness and non-drip consistency, which makes it ideal for use in medical practices and clinics. The gel offers excellent wetting properties, making it easy to spread on the patient's skin and ensuring even contact between the ultrasound device and the skin. This allows the sound waves to penetrate unhindered, resulting in accurate diagnoses. Another advantage of Sonogel ultrasound gel is that it is free of formaldehyde, which makes it particularly safe for use on the skin. Before each ultrasound examination, a sufficient amount of Sonogel ultrasound gel is applied to the area of skin to be examined. The gel ensures that the transducer of the ultrasound device rests optimally on the skin, which improves the image quality and increases the accuracy of the diagnosis.
