Cosmopor® intravenous cannula fixation plasters are specially developed plasters for the secure fixation of intravenous cannulas. Measuring 8 x 6 cm, they offer comprehensive protection and comfort for the skin. These self-adhesive fixation plasters are made of a soft non-woven backing that gently adheres to the skin and is comfortable to use. An outstanding feature of Cosmopor® i.v. plasters is the integrated, specially coated wound pad which, together with an additional padding cushion, effectively prevents pressure points. The padding cushion protects the skin from the mechanical stresses that can be caused by the cannula and provides additional comfort. The synthetic rubber adhesive used in these plasters is characterized by its skin-friendliness and hypoallergenicity. This makes Cosmopor® i.v. particularly suitable for sensitive skin and reduces the risk of skin irritation and allergic reactions. The cannula fixation patches are sterile, individually wrapped and therefore perfect for use in clinical and medical environments. Each pack contains 50 pieces, providing sufficient quantity for a wide range of applications. Cosmopor® i.v. is therefore the ideal companion for everyday medical use as it offers both protection and comfort.
