The immoCARE-C test is a highly specific method for the detection of human hemoglobin in stool. The use of sensitive antibodies eliminates the need for a restrictive diet before or during the test, which increases user compatibility and improves accuracy. According to studies, lowering the detection limit doubles the probability of finding polyps and thus strengthens its preventive capacity. The result can be read after just 5 minutes, with immoCARE-C reacting exclusively to human haemoglobin. The evaluation is simply based on the positive/negative principle and the result is not influenced by diet. With twice the positive predictive value (PPV) and twice the diagnostic sensitivity compared to the guaiac method, immoCARE-C is a reliable tool for the early detection of colorectal cancer.
