For the examination by reflected light microscopy for the early detection of malignant melanoma. Also for the examination of non-melanocytic lesions, basal cell carcinomas and dermatofibroma. The skin surface refracts the light and partially reflects it. If pigment cells or other structures in deeper skin layers are to be examined, either immersion fluid between dermatoscope and skin (e.g. dermatoscopy oil) or polarized light is required.

• Immersion and polarization. With different contact wheels (contact wheel N = immersion + contact wheel P = polarization) the examination can be adapted to the respective lesion, because some mercams can be better recognized with immersion others better with polarized light.
• 4 high-performance LEDs ensure absolutely uniform and bright illumination with excellent colour rendering (colour rendering index CR>87). Optional switch-off of 2 LEDs for lateral illumination.
• High-resolution precision optics with achromatic lenses. 10 to 16x magnification, sharp edges, distortion-free imaging, very large, detailed image.
• Eyepiece. Individual focus adjustment, correction compensation in the range from -6 to +6 dpt.
• Detailed compendium with image atlas included. Facilitates differential analysis of pigmented skin changes.
