Leukomed® is a sterile wound dressing that is characterized by its high absorption capacity and outstanding skin compatibility, making it ideal for professional use. The dressing consists of a cross-elastic polyester fleece that adapts flexibly to different body contours and thus provides optimum coverage. The wound pad, made of absorbent viscose fleece, is coated with polypropylene, which prevents it from sticking to the wound. This enables a painless dressing change without impairing wound healing. Leukomed® is characterized by its air and water vapour permeability, which significantly reduces the risk of skin maceration. The dressing is latex-free, which makes it particularly suitable for patients with sensitive skin or latex allergies. It offers reliable protection for surgical wounds and accidental injuries such as abrasions and cuts, ensuring efficient and gentle wound care.
