Single-use pelvic sling

The pelvic sling is an indispensable aid for immobilizing and stabilizing pelvic fractures directly at the accident site. Pelvic fractures can be extremely painful and lead to life-threatening bleeding. With the pelvic sling, you can reduce this bleeding and relieve the pain by applying lateral pressure of 70-100mmHg to the pelvis. The pelvic sling is available in two different sizes: standard for pelvic circumferences of 80-120 cm and large for pelvic circumferences of 100-140 cm. This allows it to be adapted to the patient's individual needs. The sling has lateral cuffs that are connected to each other and can be vented and deflated using a hand blower and pressure gauge. The MRI-compatible pressure gauge provides a precise pressure display for optimum control. A sliding rail and knee fixation are integrated to securely fix and guide the sling under the pelvis. This can also be used as a knee fixation if required. The length-adjustable fixation strap ensures individual size adjustment and offers additional safety.
