Extra-Spike® Plus without particle filter from Fresenius is ideal for removing liquids from storage containers and for safe injection. A slim, short piercing spike penetrates even thicker stoppers with ease. The ergonomic handle, which is centrally located in relation to the spike, enables the tightly closing snap closure to be opened and closed with one hand. An integrated venting membrane ensures smooth and clean withdrawal or injection and provides reliable protection against microbial contamination. The practical Luer-lock attachment prevents unwanted leakage of fluids and enables a secure connection. The Extra-Spike® Plus without particle filter are free of latex, PVC and DEHP. Each spike is individually and sterilely packaged.
