Thanks to its excellent immediate effect and long-term effect of at least 24 hours, kodan® tincture forte, colored offers reliable protection against a wide range of microorganisms. It is bactericidal (incl. mycobacteria and MRSA), levurocidal, fungicidal and has limited virucidal activity - including the important pathogens HIV, HBV, HCV and HSV. It therefore meets the highest requirements for modern skin disinfection in hospitals, surgeries and care settings.

The orange-red coloring serves to reliably mark the treated skin areas and enables a clear visual check - a decisive advantage in pre-operative preparation. Thanks to its good skin compatibility, kodan® tincture forte is also suitable for sensitive skin and repeated use. It is VAH-listed and therefore meets the requirements for tested quality and efficacy.

Areas of application: kodan® tincture forte, coloured is preferably used for preoperative skin antisepsis - for example before surgical procedures, catheterizations, injections, blood sampling, punctures, excisions, cannulations and biopsies.
