The BAG™ disposable resuscitation bag

The new The BAG™ is a revised and significantly improved version of its proven disposable resuscitation bag. The BAG™ has been developed to combine maximum patient safety, ease of use and environmental responsibility. The resuscitator is available in five different sizes - from the premature infant size to infant and pediatric sizes and two adult sizes - and thus covers the entire range of preclinical and clinical care requirements.

Compared to the previous model, The BAG™ offers a number of significant improvements. For example, an integrated pressure relief valve is now included in all sizes, which further increases safety during manual ventilation. The new ventilation mask has been equipped with a blow-out sealing cushion, which enables an even better seal on the patient - a decisive advantage, especially in critical emergency situations. The new model is also more robust in terms of operating conditions: the temperature range has been extended and now extends from -18 to +50 degrees Celsius.

Another advance is the introduction of a standardized PEEP connection with a 30 mm OD port that complies with ISO 5356-1:2015. This enables easy connection to PEEP valves and external monitoring devices. Special attention has also been paid to user-friendliness. The different sizes of The BAG™ are now color-coded to ensure quick and error-free identification.
