Non-return valve

The Fresenius non-return valves are disposable infusion valves that are attached as a connector to the venous catheter or to the intravenous catheters to prevent fluid backflow. The non-return valves prevent backflow of blood if the infusion is interrupted. There is only a minimal closing flow of <1 ml/h, so the non-return valves prevent dangers during parallel infusions. The self-acting valve, opens at low pressure and closes when fluids flow back. The valve has a mark that indicates the direction of flow, guaranteeing that the backflow preventer is fitted correctly. The backflow preventer is DEHP and latex free and is suitable for all ISO approved luer lock connectors.
