Gigasept pearls by Schülke is a combination of cleaning and disinfection of thermolabile and thermostable medical instruments of all kinds (stainless steel, polycarbonate, polysulphone, acrylic glass). It is particularly suitable for flexible endoscopes and sensitive materials such as silicones. The combination of active oxygen and enzymes guarantees excellent cleaning and comprehensive microbiological effectiveness. The extraordinary thing about the use of enzymes is the unlimited material compatibility, the high user-friendliness and the good environmental compatibility. The added surfactants reduce the surface tension and ensure even wetting of the instruments, thus increasing the cleaning power. Gigasept pearls can reliably clean even hard-to-reach areas even at low temperatures. In contrast to other powdered instrument disinfectants, Gigasept pearls are much easier and more pleasant for the user. For example, there is no dust formation when using the pearls and inhalation of the small particles is prevented. Furthermore, they have a pleasant smell and are even suitable for the ultrasonic bath.
