Smart Pads II electrode cassette, suitable for FRx

The Smart Pads II electrode cassette, FRx from Philips, offer a reliable solution for emergency situations that saves valuable time. These pads are versatile and can be used on adults as well as children and infants, increasing efficiency in critical moments. Thanks to the SMART Pads II, there is no need for additional expenditure on different pads as they are suitable for different patient groups. The pads that are already connected are protected by a semi-hard pad box, which ensures that they are ready for use. The electrode cassette is equipped with a HeartStart compatible connector that allows seamless integration with Philips ACLS defibrillators. It can also be used with defibrillators from other manufacturers by using a suitable adapter. For children and infants (up to 8 years and up to 25 kg), we recommend the use of a paediatric key, if available, to ensure that the electrodes are adapted to the specific needs of this patient group.
