The ZEMO VML-GK2 is a mobile chip card reader for health insurance and health cards with gematik approval. With simple operation and an 8-line graphic display with backlighting, it offers flexible application options. Data is transferred to the PC via a USB cable without an additional connector. This chip card reader is approved for the G2 health card and is compatible with the G2.1 health card. The Zemo VML-GK2 makes it easy to read health cards, whether for home visits, emergency services or in the event of telematics infrastructure failures. It stores billing-relevant data from the unprotected area without a doctor's/practice ID card and can be used both mobile and stationary. Tested with common practice programs, it has a graphic display with backlight and 8 lines for convenient use. Technical details include a memory capacity of 200 insurance cards or eGKs, USB and optional RS232 interfaces to the PC/printer, as well as power supply via 2 x 1.5 V Mignon (AA) batteries in mobile use and via the USB interface on the PC in stationary use. With a robust housing and compact dimensions of 15.5 x 6.2 x 2.5 cm, it is easy to transport.
