The Hitado Troponin I Rapid Test is a reliable test for the qualitative detection of human cardiac troponin I in whole blood, plasma and serum samples, an important biomarker for myocardial infarction. The Troponin I cassette test from Hitado is based on an immunochromatic method that enables rapid and reliable detection of cardiac Troponin I. This test cassette shows a color change when troponin I is present in the sample, indicating a possible myocardial infarction. By using highly specific antibodies, the test can be performed safely under various conditions, even under difficult circumstances. The result is available after only 15 minutes and shows no cross-reactions with anticoagulants, which further increases the accuracy of the test. The Troponin I cassette test is extremely sensitive and specific, with a sensitivity of 100% and a specificity of 97.1%. The detection limit is above 1.0 ng/ml sample material. This rapid test is intended for use by healthcare professionals only, as expert interpretation of the results is required.
