BD Microtainer® is ideally suited for capillary blood collection by finger puncture. The integrated safety mechanism reduces the risk of an unwanted needle prick. The lancing device is activated by pressing on the tip of the housing, thus preventing accidental triggering. Once the puncture has taken place, the lancet automatically retracts, reducing the risk of needlestick injuries. Recessed grips ensure a secure hold and good execution of the puncture. The structured surface prevents slipping during use. BD Microtainer® are for single use only and cannot be reused. Colour coding allows quick and reliable size identification.
