The LT®evo Sterile Single-Use Laryngeal Tube is a modern advancement of the proven laryngeal tube system and was specifically designed for safe, efficient, and user-friendly airway management. Thanks to optimized material properties, an enlarged ventilation channel, and an innovative dual-cuff design, the LT®evo is suitable for both routine anesthesia and emergency applications. The anatomically optimized shape of the tube adapts to the contours of the upper airway and enables rapid and atraumatic placement. The slim, oval cross-section and the tapered distal tip facilitate insertion through the hypopharynx to the esophageal opening. The LT®evo can be used safely even in patients with a minimal interincisal distance of just 19 mm.
Particularly noteworthy is the innovative dual-cuff system: The proximal cuff efficiently seals the airway, while the distal cuff closes off the esophagus. This enables reliable ventilation while simultaneously reducing the risk of regurgitation and gastric insufflation. The thin-walled cuffs create an effective oropharyngeal and esophageal seal even at low cuff pressure. The large ventilation channel ensures optimized gas flow and even allows for the passage of a conventional endotracheal tube if necessary. An integrated ramp assists in guiding the tube toward the glottic opening. For added safety, the LT®evo features an integrated drainage channel for position verification and aspiration prevention. Large nasogastric tubes can be easily inserted, allowing for additional confirmation of correct positioning. The integrated bite block protects both the device and the airway from potential occlusion caused by biting. The sterile, single-use laryngeal tube is supplied with a syringe and offers a hygienic, ready-to-use solution for professional airway management in hospitals, emergency medical services, and anesthesia.
