Burnshield® sterile has been specially developed for burns and guarantees that a burn can be cooled immediately and treated at the same time. All Burnshield® burn dressings consist of a special wound dressing soaked in a water-based hydrogel. The dressing is highly absorbent and keeps the gel on the wound for optimal and effective cooling and pain relief. Only non-toxic materials have been used in the Burnshield® Burn Dressing and it does not contain any oils or fats, which ensures that it can be used in the courtroom or on young children. The Burnshield® dressing is suitable for first to third degree burns.
