Tegaderm Plaster Strips™ are transparent fixation plasters for intravascular cannulas and catheters. The transparent nature allows constant monitoring of the catheter insertion site without having to remove the dressing. The application frame allows for one-handed application. Tegaderm Patch Strip™ is a waterproof dressing that provides a breathable barrier to external contaminants, this is only as long as the transparent film is intact and does not leak. The adhesive-free retaining tabs allow for easy and quick application and prevent the risk of sticking to the glove. Tegaderm Patch Strips™ can be worn for up to seven days and allow the patient to shower easily. The patch strips comply with the recommendations of the Robert Koch Institute for the prevention of vascular catheter associated infections.
