Otoscope PICCOLIGHT® C

The KaWe Piccolight, developed by Heine Optotechnik GmbH & Co.KG, presents itself as an extremely handy and light pocket otoscope that meets the highest demands. With its outstanding features, it is an indispensable instrument. The Piccolight is available in two versions, each with different illuminants. The first version uses a 2.5 V vacuum lamp (standard), while the second version is equipped with a 2.5 V xenon lamp and fibre optics (F.O.) for brilliant illumination. The powerful 2.5 V lamp ensures a clear view of the eardrum and ear canal and is ideal for use in medical practices and clinics. The otoscope is extremely user-friendly and has a practical holding clip with integrated on/off switch. In addition, it offers a blower connection for pneumatic otoscopy, which expands its application possibilities. A swivelling magnifying glass with 3x magnification enables precise examinations and increases the accuracy of the diagnosis. The Piccolight is supplied with a type AA battery handle (2 x 1.5 V type AA batteries required, not included) and a cloth bag for safe storage and easy transport. In addition, 10 disposable tube funnels with a diameter of 2.5 mm and 10 disposable tube funnels with a diameter of 4 mm are included in the delivery. The housing of the Piccolight is made of high-quality plastic and is particularly robust and durable. Technical details of the Piccolight include an impressive LED lamp life of about 50,000 hours and an illuminance of 4,200 lux. The electrical voltage is 2.5 V, which ensures reliable and constant performance.
