CRP-Chek-1

The CRP - Check-1 is a semi-quantitative rapid test for measuring the C-reactive protein (CRP) in the blood. It enables a quick reaction to the onset of inflammation and rapid therapy monitoring, particularly with regard to the effectiveness of the antibiotic used. The test can distinguish bacterial infections from viral infections and detect bacterial superinfections in primary viral infections. The result is available within 10 minutes and is divided into three concentration ranges: < 5 mg/l (normal), 5 - 10 mg/l (borderline range) and > 10 mg/l (pathological).
