Surgicric III®

The Surgicric III® from VBM Medizintechnik GmbH is a comprehensive set specially developed for the maintenance of ventilation in cases of upper airway obstruction. The set utilises the proven Seldinger technique and consists of a unique injection cannula that enables optimal puncture and ensures temporary oxygenation via a 15 mm connector. The special feature of the Surgicric III is the combination of tube and dilator, which optimises patient safety thanks to a special locking mechanism and a soft tip. This minimises the risk of injury. The supplied instrument pouch not only provides a perfect overview of the accessories, but also enables sterile use in any situation. This prevents confusion with other techniques and ensures reliable application. The set is designed for percutaneous coniotomy according to the Seldinger technique and offers a high level of patient safety thanks to a low risk of injury. The tracheal tube with an inner diameter of 6.0 mm is sterile-packed for single use and ready for immediate use. It can also be customised thanks to an extra-long tracheal tube and a height-adjustable flange. 

In addition to the injection cannula, the Surgicric III also comes with a #11 scalpel, a 10 ml syringe, a 6.0 mm blockable tracheal tube with dilator, a connecting tube, a tracheal hook, collars for the tracheal tube and the injection cannula as well as a guide wire. With a small pack size of 24 cm x 13 cm x 4 cm, the set fits easily into any emergency bag and unfolds to a size of 56 cm x 39 cm if required.
