Idealast®-haft

Idealast®-haft is a highly developed, cohesive and permanently elastic Idealast® bandage that can be used for a wide range of applications in medical care and sports medicine. This bandage is particularly suitable for medium-strength compression, making it an excellent choice for the prophylaxis and follow-up treatment of venous disorders. It is also used as a support and relief bandage for injuries to the musculoskeletal system and as a sports bandage to support injuries and for stabilization. Idealast®-haft offers a stretchability of around 90 %, which is in the range of classic Idealast® bandages, and thus enables effective compression without restricting the freedom of movement of the affected body parts. An outstanding feature of this bandage is its double-sided micro-dot latex impregnation. This special impregnation ensures that the individual layers of the bandage adhere well to each other without sticking to the skin, hair or clothing. This makes handling easier and prevents unintentional sticking. Idealast®-haft does not wear out, which makes the bandage technique even easier to use and guarantees a long shelf life. The bandage is not only suitable as a compressive wound dressing, but is also ideal for wrapping splints. Thanks to its cohesive nature, it provides a secure and stable hold that reliably protects and supports the affected areas.
