Urgotül®, 10 x 10 cm

Urgotül® is a sterile, non-occlusive gauze wound dressing based on innovative lipid colloid technology (TLC). This technology uses a mesh of polyester fibers impregnated with hydrocolloid particles and Vaseline. On contact with wound secretions, the hydrocolloid particles liquefy and, together with the Vaseline, form a lipidocolloid boundary layer that creates an optimal physiological environment for wound healing. Urgotül® does not stick to the wound or the wound edges, which enables pain-free dressing changes without impairing the healing process. This wound dressing is particularly suitable for the treatment of skin abrasions, traumatic wounds, burns and chronic wounds such as leg ulcers and pressure sores. It is also suitable for the treatment of wounds caused by the hereditary disease epidermolysis bullosa. With a size of 10 x 10 cm, Urgotül® provides effective coverage and promotes rapid and painless healing.
