Sterile, non-occlusive Lipidokolloid-gauze wound pad

It's based on the patented Lipidokolloid-Technology (TLC). The carrier matrix consists of a network of polyester fibres, which is impregnated with hydrocolloid particles and petroleum jelly. In conjunction with the wound exudate liquefy the hydrocolloid particles to form a gel and, together with the vaseline, a lipidokolloide boundary layer. This creates a favorable environment for wound healing physiology. Due to its composition Urgotül will not adhere to the wound and the wound edges so that it can be exchanged painlessly and without disturbing the healing process.

To be used for:

  • Skin abrasions
  • Traumatic wounds
  • Burns and chronic wounds (leg ulcers, pressure ulcers)
  • Wounds as a result of hereditary epidermolysis bullosa
