Curapor wound dressing, 5 x 7 cm

The Curapor® wound dressing in the size 5 x 7 cm with a central wound pad measuring 4 x 2.5 cm is a high-quality, individually sterile-packed wound dressing for the safe treatment of light to moderately exuding wounds. It is ideal for the treatment of post-operative, acute and superficial cuts and lacerations and offers both reliable protection and high wearing comfort thanks to its sophisticated material composition.

The dressing consists of a soft, white non-woven fabric made of 100% polyester, which is coated on one side with a skin-friendly polyacrylate adhesive. The centrally applied wound pad has a multi-layer structure and consists of an absorbent viscose layer and a polyethylene/polypropylene combination that effectively absorbs the fluid and keeps it away from the wound. The polyethylene wound contact layer ensures particularly gentle contact with the skin. A white, overlapping silicone paper cover protects the adhesive side until application and is easy to remove.

Thanks to its breathable, water vapor-permeable structure, the Curapor® dressing supports a healthy wound environment and reduces the risk of skin maceration. The all-round adhesive surface provides optimum support and minimizes the risk of germs migrating into the wound. Rounded corners ensure that the dressing stays securely in place even during movement and does not come off unintentionally.

The Curapor® wound dressing is quick and easy to apply, skin-friendly and comfortable to wear and is suitable for professional medical use as well as for use in the home. If stored properly, dry and protected from dust and light, the Curapor® wound dressing can be kept for up to five years from the date of manufacture.
