The VASUFLO® INT PTFE is a peripheral intravenous catheter compliant with DIN EN ISO 10555-5 and was developed for reliable and user-friendly establishment of peripheral venous access. The thin-walled PTFE (Teflon) catheter allows for high flow rates and is therefore suitable for efficient administration of fluids and medications. The special faceted cut and the optimized catheter design facilitate precise and minimally invasive puncture and help minimize puncture trauma. For convenient handling, the VASUFLO® INT PTFE features a longitudinal injection valve and a transparent Luer-Lock connector, which enables a secure connection to compatible systems. The excellent fixation to the skin ensures stable positioning of the catheter during use. Thanks to the purple color-coding in accordance with ISO standards, the catheter size can be quickly and clearly identified. The VASUFLO® INT PTFE in size 26G x 3/4" (0.6 x 19 mm) thus combines functional design, reliable handling, and a catheter design tailored for peripheral intravenous use.
