Replant bag, sterile double-wall bag

The replantation bag was specially developed for the safe transport and optimal storage of amputated limbs. It ensures that severed body parts are transported under ideal conditions, significantly increasing the chances of successful replantation. Thanks to its sophisticated double-wall system, the amputated limb is reliably protected from mechanical influences, temperature fluctuations, moisture, and contamination. The inner bag is used to store the amputation in a dry, sterile environment, while the outer bag is designed to be filled with ice or coolant. This keeps the tissue cool without coming into direct contact with liquids. The bags are made of flexible, puncture-resistant film that prevents tearing, even with bone splinters. They are sterile packed and available in different sizes (hand, arm, leg).

Application:

Wrap the severed body part in sterile bandaging material.

Remove the double-walled bag, unfold it, and place the amputated limb in the inner bag.

Close the inner bag with blue threads.

Fill the outer bag equally with ice and water (or cooling compresses) and close it with white threads.

Hang the bag by the threads or place it securely.

Replace the coolant regularly during long transport journeys.
