EZ-IO® T.A.L.O.N.™ Training Needle Set non-sterile

The Arrow® EZ-IO® T.A.L.O.N.™ Training Needle Set non-sterile is specifically designed for practicing manual intraosseous (I/O) needle placement and provides an effective solution for training purposes. This non-sterile training product is intended for use in training in preparation for emergency situations where rapid and reliable vascular access is required. The kit includes a 15-gauge 304 stainless steel needle/catheter that is robust and designed for repeated training. The needle can be used in the field on all seven recommended puncture sites: sternum, bilateral proximal humerus, bilateral proximal tibia and bilateral distal tibia. This versatility enables comprehensive training on different body sites to learn the technique of intraosseous infusion under realistic conditions. In addition to the needle, the set includes an EZ-IO® Sternal Positioning Guide to help determine the exact position for needle placement on the sternum. Also included is an EZ-IO® EZ-Connect connector line, which is used for connecting and administering fluids and medications, and an EZ-IO® NeedleVISE 1 safety device, which increases safety when handling the needle. The training set also comes with a patient wristband to help simulate a patient and a quick start guide that explains the basic steps for needle placement and use of the set. For reusability and ease of use, the set includes a reset tool that allows the needle to be removed and reused after training.
