The Introcan Safety 3 cannula from B. Braun is a state-of-the-art safety vein cannula with an integrated membrane that reduces blood leakage during insertion and dwell time. The innovative passive safety mechanism within the housing activates automatically on removal, effectively preventing needlestick injuries. This disposable cannula not only ensures the safety of medical personnel, but also hygienic use. With high catheter stability and an easy-to-fix stabilization platform, the Introcan Safety 3 offers a reliable solution for safe catheter placement and access dwell time. The clearly visible blood return facilitates monitoring of the insertion site. In addition, the Introcan Safety® 3 cannula is latex-, PVC- and DEHP-free, which ensures improved tolerability. The product range includes different sizes to meet individual requirements. Each cannula is individually sterile packed for optimal hygiene. The pack contains 50 needles and the color coding of the sizes also facilitates quick identification.
