Head section model

This functional demonstration head is used to illustrate the anatomical structures of the upper airways in cross-section. It is robustly built and can therefore be used frequently for teaching purposes. The head is an ideal addition for emergency medicine and anesthesia training to familiarize students with the anatomical features in a realistic way. The cross-section shows anatomical structures such as the tongue, epiglottis, larynx, trachea and bronchi. For example, the insertion of a laryngeal tube or the performance of ventilation can be practiced in a practical manner. The demonstration head is also suitable for informing patients about upcoming procedures or therapies in the throat area.
