Quicktrach I is a ready-to-use sterile set for coniotomy, ideal for emergency procedures during airway obstruction. The pre-assembled Quicktrach I sets offer a specially sharpened needle tip, eliminating the need for a prior incision and minimising the risk of bleeding. The stopper prevents over-insertion, reduces the risk of perforation of the posterior tracheal wall and allows quick access to the trachea with just one hand movement. Quicktrach I is available in various sizes without a cuff, including babies I.D. 1.5 mm, paediatric I.D. 2.0 mm and adult I.D. 4.0 mm. The sets are sterile-packed, intended for single use and supplied in blister packs. With a soft foam collar, they provide a secure fixation. For additional safety and control, Quicktrach II with cuff is also available in the size variant for adults I.D. 4.0 mm. This set includes a cuff, safety clip and a special needle. The large-lumen cannula enables an efficient air flow. Quicktrach I and Quicktrach II are the perfect companions for emergency bags to perform a quick and precise coniotomy in critical situations.
