The Gold Plus urinary catheter is a 2-way balloon catheter for men made of siliconised natural latex and is suitable for short-term postoperative drainage or short-term urinary diversion. The bladder catheter has a cylindrical tip with two eyes and has a large inner lumen that provides constant and efficient urine drainage, the bladder catheter also has a stylet that simplifies insertion. The sensitive urethral mucosa is particularly protected by the catheters, which are covered with a thin silicone layer and made of soft latex material. The practical valve ensures a secure connection with the Luer or Luer-Lock syringe attachment, which has been developed for filling the balloon. The Gold Plus disposable urinary catheters are supplied sterile in individual packs, so they can always be used safely and hygienically, whether on site in the hospital or mobile in outpatient care units. As the Gold Plus urinary catheters from Teleflex Medical GmbH contain natural latex, they should not be used on latex-sensitive patients, as they could cause allergic reactions there.
