The Troponin I cassette test for semi-quantitative evaluation is an immunochromatographic test that detects cardiac troponin I (cTnI) in the blood. As an important diagnostic tool for heart damage and heart attacks, this test is ideal for medical professionals. Using whole blood, serum or plasma as sample material, the test provides rapid results. Within just 10 minutes of use, healthcare professionals can read the visual color development on the test strip. The semi-quantitative determination of troponin I provides rapid support in the diagnosis of heart attacks and heart damage. The test detects troponin I with high sensitivity and specificity (98.8 %) and provides reliable results. With a detection limit (cut-off value) of 0.3 ng/ml, troponin I concentrations in the range of ≥ 0.3 ng/ml and < 1 ng/ml as well as ≥ 1 ng/ml can be narrowed down. The Troponin I cassette test is easy to use and read. It is perfectly suited for use in professional in vitro diagnostics. The test cassettes are available in packs of 5 or 10.
