Erythrocytes instant test

The Diaglobal ERY Mini-Test cuvettes are specially designed for measuring erythrocytes from capillary blood using photometric turbidimetry. They are particularly suitable for close-to-patient diagnostics in outpatient clinics, hospital emergency rooms and for general practitioners and gynecologists, especially for detecting blood loss and vitamin deficiency as part of pregnancy follow-up care. The measuring principle is based on the transfer of erythrocytes into spherical form by placing the blood sample in Gower's solution and photometrically measuring the turbidity. Each round cuvette is ready to use and contains the exact solution required. The measuring range is between 1.0 and 10 million/µl, and the measuring time is only 3 minutes. A suitable photometer for round cuvettes and a 10 µl micropipette are required to carry out the test.
