The S-Monovettes® Potassium-EDTA are specially developed disposable tubes for the precise collection of blood samples in medical diagnostics. With a sufficient volume, they offer enough space for the examination of various blood components that require anticoagulation with potassium EDTA. These monovettes are an integral part of Sarstedt's individual blood collection system, which enables flexible use according to the aspiration or vacuum principle. The closed system ensures safe and hygienic collection, eliminating the need for disposable syringes. The liquid EDTA K3 is dosed at a concentration of approx. 1.6 mg EDTA/ml blood and ensures reliable anticoagulation. Thanks to their transparent design with a red screw cap, the monovettes are easy to recognize and handle. They are suitable for centrifugation and have a secure membrane cap to prevent blood leakage.
