The S-Monovette for blood sedimentation is an essential component of the Sarstedt blood collection system. It enables flexible use according to both the aspiration and vacuum principle, which allows individual adaptation to the patient's needs. The use of monovettes means that disposable syringes can be avoided, which simplifies handling and reduces the risk of cross-contamination. The citrate solution in the monovette is used for blood sedimentation and is provided as a 0.106 molar tri-sodium citrate solution. This ensures accurate and reliable results when determining the erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR). Each monovette is equipped with a secure membrane cap to ensure easy and safe handling. The purple-colored screw cap allows easy identification and differentiation from other monovettes. The transparent material of the monovette allows visual control of the sample material and contributes to user-friendliness. Each pack contains 50 monovettes for blood sedimentation.
