Thanks to its USB 2.0 connectivity, it can be easily connected to a computer like a memory stick, making it particularly user-friendly. The Spirostik™ complies with the latest standards and guidelines of the American Thoracic Society (ATS) and the European Respiratory Society (ERS). The included Blue Cherry™ Windows software is intuitive and user-friendly. It offers all the features required for modern spirometry programs, including a Microsoft® SQL database, BDT/GDT interfaces, single and pre/post measurements for spirometry and flow/volume tests, trend displays, provocation tests, calibrations and quality controls. The high-precision Spiraflow flow sensor of the Spirostik™ minimizes the risk of infection for patients. The flow sensor can be easily replaced after each measurement, providing additional safety. With an extremely small dead space of less than 24 ml, the Spirostik™ is particularly suitable for measuring infants who have very little ventilation. The revolutionary "Snap In" handle allows the flow sensor to be easily removed from the handle without the user having to touch it. This facilitates replacement and increases hygiene. The Spirostik™ requires no additional power supply, no battery chargers and offers no connection problems. It is therefore particularly easy and flexible to use.
