The Binoptometer 4P is a state-of-the-art vision testing device that enables a comprehensive examination of visual performance. It has been specially developed to meet the requirements of various standards such as G 25, G 37 and G 41 of the German Driving License Ordinance as well as other standards such as DIN 58220 Parts 5 and 6 and DIN EN ISO 8596. Thanks to its innovative design and the use of a high-resolution micro color display, the Binoptometer 4P offers an almost unlimited display of vision tests. The device allows individual and infinitely variable adjustment of the test distances, which enables flexible adaptation to different examination scenarios. It offers a variety of testing options, including visual acuity testing with different vision charts such as Landolt rings, numbers and letters, contrast testing under photopic conditions, binocular testing for phoria and stereo testing and color vision testing with a wide range of color charts. An optional function of the Binoptometer 4P is the testing of twilight vision and glare sensitivity in accordance with DIN 58220 Part 7. The device is light and slim, making it ideal for mobile use. A special control function of the device enables the fixation to be checked precisely by means of symbols that change in the center. For subjects with multifocal lenses, the viewing angle can be infinitely adjusted to improve the reproducibility of the examination results. The test distance is also infinitely adjustable, which is particularly important for the G 37 test in order to be able to carry out the vision test at the exact screen distance.
